Sunday, February 3, 2013 the Deputy Chief of Mission attended the Closing Ceremony for the Qatar National Library – US Embassy English Language and Professional Development Program for the library staff.   The Embassy contracted the services of English Language Specialist, Ms. Indrani Ibrahim, to work with the library administration in designing a program in English for Specific Purposes . Also in attendance at the event was Dr. Claudia Lux, Project Manager of the new Qatar National Library initiative.  Dr. Lux was so impressed with Dr. Indy’s program that she invited US Embassy Doha to open an American Corner in the new Qatar National Library when it opens n the spring
